Click the + button in the tab bar at the top, or press Ctrl+N on your keyboard. A new blank tab opens immediately and is ready to write.
Select the text you want to format, then use the toolbar buttons at the top of the editor, or use keyboard shortcuts: Ctrl+B for bold, Ctrl+I for italic, Ctrl+U for underline. The Format panel in the toolbar gives access to font family, size, colors, alignment, and lists.
Your notes are saved automatically every 500ms. To download a permanent copy, press Ctrl+S or go to File → Save. You can save as a .txt file or export as HTML using File → Export as HTML. To create a PDF, use File → Print and choose "Save as PDF" in your browser's print dialog.

Press Ctrl+F to open the Find & Replace panel. Type the word or phrase you want to find, and optionally enter a replacement. You can match case, whole words only, or use regular expressions for advanced searching.
The floating window mode opens your notes in a small overlay window that stays on top of all other apps. It uses the browser's Picture-in-Picture API. Use it to take notes while watching a video, reading a document, or in a meeting without switching windows. Open it with Ctrl+Shift+F or via View → Floating Window.
